Volunteering Roles
Romsey Young Carers couldn’t achieve all that we do without committed and caring volunteers. We are always looking to expand our volunteer base as we always need support in many ways.
All volunteers will be supported to complete an enhanced dbs check and complete a full application and referencing.
Volunteers will also be supported with appropriate training and will be fully supported.

Befriending
Befriending a young carer is a unique opportunity to do something different and allows a volunteer to give their time in a more dedicated way to a matched young carer. This is something we offer as an opportunity once a volunteer is established in the project and has shown an interest in the scheme
Befrienders are fully trained and have our full guidance and support through the process.
