HOLIDAY OUTINGS

In the holiday times club stops and activities and trips are run instead.

We have been everywhere from rock climbing to sailing to baking workshops to the Beaulieu Motor Museum! Alongside this we have our annual summer family picnic and Christmas party. Our activities cover all club age groups.

RESIDENTIAL TRIPS

Romsey Young Carers strives to offer residential outings ato as many young carers as possible each year.

This ranges from attending the annual Young Carers Festival at Fairthorne Manor to supporting young carers to attend Honeypot house. We also host our own residentials at amazing venues such as Cameron’s Cottage and Minstead Study Centre in the New Forest.

WORKSHOPS

In RYC also delivers a range of workshops to enhance life skills, raise aspirations and promote wellbeing for the young carers of Southern Test Valley.

We recognise that we have a role to play in the development of the young people we support and we do our best to offer a range of workshops that promote the growth, resilience and confidence of the young people who attend
